Self-hosted Gmail triage
Inbox Organizer
A Gmail sorting tool you swipe like a deck of cards. Trash, keep, prioritise or archive, one message at a time, and the deck learns your taste as you go. It runs on your own machine and your mail never leaves it.
Four gestures
Trash
Newsletters you never read, notifications from services you stopped using.
Moves the message to Gmail Trash, recoverable for 30 days.
Archive
Receipts, shipping updates, confirmations. Worth keeping, not worth seeing.
Removes the message from the inbox and labels it Organizer/Archived.
Keep
Real conversations that need an answer or a decision from you.
Leaves the message in the inbox and labels it Organizer/Keep.
Priority
The few things you want to see first tomorrow morning.
Labels it Organizer/Priority, stars it, and surfaces it at the top.
How it works
- 01
Connect your own Google Cloud project
The app asks for one OAuth scope, gmail.modify, using an OAuth client you create in your own Google account. No intermediary service is involved at any point.
- 02
Swipe the deck
Cards arrive one at a time with the sender, subject and a short preview. Four gestures, keyboard shortcuts, and an undo that reverses what was written to Gmail.
- 03
It learns your sorting
Every swipe is a labelled example. Sender history and a local embedding model build a per-account classifier, so the deck starts ordering itself and you swipe less.
What it does not do
- It does not read your Contacts, Calendar, or Drive. Only Gmail, and only with the scope you grant.
- It does not permanently delete anything. Trash is trash, and undo is one gesture.
- It does not send your mail to a model provider, an analytics service, or a server I run.
- It does not hold your credentials anywhere but the SQLite file on your own disk.
Where your data goes
Everything the app reads is written to a single SQLite database on the machine running it. The full detail, including how Google user data is handled under the Google API Services User Data Policy, is in the privacy policy.
